Terms of use

Vigie is a free news reader. Using it — with or without an account — means accepting these terms. They are short on purpose.

What Vigie is

Vigie gathers stories from publishers’ public feeds and shows their headlines, a short excerpt and a picture, always with a link to the publisher’s own page. The stories belong to their publishers; Vigie does not republish articles.

Community rules

Readers can comment on stories, add sources and report what is wrong. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not post or add:

Your account

An account is optional. You can delete it — or, without one, erase everything Vigie knows about your browser — at any time in Settings → Account and data. What it holds is removed at once. The privacy policy says what is stored and why.

No warranty

Vigie is provided as it is, free of charge. Stories, summaries and translations can contain mistakes; the publisher’s page is the reference.
